The Literacy Bank promises:

1. To build positive relationships based on honesty and trust

2. To always use qualified facilitators who are enhanced CRB checked. They will always have experience in education and all references/qualifications will be checked in accordance with 'Safe Guarding Children' guidelines. All staffs who enter a school environment will be accompanied by an enhanced CRB checked
member of staff. At any time staffs can be asked for details of their checks.

3. To always adhere to strict confidentiality policies within schools and not to disclose any information on individuals or young learners.

4. To check and maintain the school's child protection policies before working with young learners. We will always ask permission from parents and the school before using any information or images from the school. Necessary permission slips will always be checked.

5. To provide an Action Plan for the Year 1 License Agreement that defines all work carried out by our facilitator.

6. To Quality Manage and Lead a programme of rigorous inspection for all facilitator visits. This will be either by questionnaire or through observation of the facilitator. Quality Assurance will always be carried out by a highly trained lead facilitator with previous experience.

7. Complaints and failure of quality will always be dealt with quickly. This means any initial complaint will be communicated to the Quality Assurance Director and follow up communication within 24 hours of initial complaint. Resolution of the complaint should be achieved within 7 days.

8. To ensure that curriculum resources are fully reviewed on a 3 yearly cycle and to respond to any evaluative comments by schools within the yearly licence cycle.

9. To provide tailor made curriculum resources identified by the school for the Year 2 Licence. Write and provide evidence of these resources on signing of the Year 2 SLA.

10. To ensure that all dealings with our clients are based on our understanding: that we are offering a service to education, which requires high levels of integrity in every aspect of our business.
