The Literacy Bank is a tailor made curriculum resource to be delivered in schools to enhance and complement literacy, numeracy and PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship Education ). It provides an innovative, creative curriculum solution that incorporates literacy, numeracy and financial education.

From 2008 teachers have had to develop financial capability into PSHCE education in contexts such as managing risk, personal financial decisions and career choices.
